Workaholics

I've been taking a break from the working force. College, my move to the City, and just life itself has kept me away from working again. But I'll be back at the Store from December to January, just in time for the worst time of the year. Shoppers will come screaming, grasping and grabbing at different clothes. Luckily I miss Black Friday. I could have worked and I'm sure Manager would have been pleased but I'm home for such a short time that I can't fathom not being literally at home. But I'm oddly excited to go back. Even though the Store is part of many, many stores, I haven't been in one since I left. I have no clue what the new merchandise is, though Roommate has bought a few things for the boyfriend that's no longer hers.

Phenomen'Eyes

So my mascara, Clinique High Impact, had served me well from June until yesterday. I realized I was running low and began my search for the best mascara. My lashes, naturally, are long and thick. But I've always wanted a mascara that made them longer and more runway than date. I spent a long time googling different types and stumbled upon Dior Diorshow Waterproof so naturally I ran to Sephora to check it out.

I wasn't satisfied. Make no mistakes, it looked good. My lashes, on the one eye I did, were longer but not exactly show-stopping. So I walked around the store, one eye done up the other empty, until I reached Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes. I had read online that it was Dior's equal so I decided to give it a try. Definitely worth it.

Look at the brush. It's a SPHERE. And POINTY. And coats EVERY SINGLE LASH, EVER. It makes them kind of sticky but I've always been the type to comb out my eyelashes after applying mascara (I swear I'm not high mantainance!!).

This is me before combing out the lashes or finishing my makeup.
